I wouldn't mind getting a couple more myself if Hinderer would get around to making them along with the accessory screws and stand offs he promised.

I recently found out that the only differences between the gen 1 and gen 2 are the drillings for the updated pocket clip. so I'm pretty excited I can now buy the scales that hinderer and others made.

If you can find them, unfortunately I haven't been able to locate any desirable colors anywhere, just pink and yellow. If you happen to find others somewhere and they have more than you want, let me know, I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm not big on the frag pattern. I mean, about anything is better than the stock 0550 scale, but I prefer the Hinderer pattern.

550 is gonna be the knife i get once i have gone 1 month without a cigarettes, i am at 12 days right now. Very nice photography man!! maybe a 561......ah heck i dont know yet, but this one is in the running for sure

I've had both and for what it's worth, I think the 0550 is the more practical of the two to carry. I review them both over on my site ThruMyLens.

This is my favorite knife that I own. Mine is a 551 so I might keep it from being abused too much and pick up a new 550. I love elmax though so I dunno.
