  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

.....and blue Ti stand offs to my XM - 18. This is my EDC.... Just got it this month. They look unbelievably cool but seem VERY smooth. I'm a steady hand but I worry I will drop it. Anyone have experience with same? Is Smooth Carbon for show and safe queens?

Many people love the smooth CF! I love the looks of it myself. I carried the smooth CF for EDC until I purchased my smooth Ti. So IMO the smooth is just fine for EDC. Just personal preference. I like having the crusader cross nut to help pull out of my pocket :D

Speaking for myself, I have carried a smooth carbon fiber gen 2 for several years. Never had a problem.

Show, safe queens, users, you name it. I love the look of smooth carbon fiber. I personally don't feel that the scale texture (or lack thereof) impacts the overall grip that much based on how my hand wraps around the handle but I also don't personally regularly experience wet/bloody situations necessitating max grip. I imagine your usage would dictate your needs.

The knife in my opinion has such good ergos, especially with choking up on it, I feel very safe and secure with mine in hand.

I've EDC'd my 3" with smooth cf for a while now and it works perfect. Smooth Ti will give you the same feeling, but with the added tank feel.

It's all good man. :)
