I was out working today and I took my Buck 110 Paperstone along for the ride. DM

Hay David,

Where is the white stuff that should be on the ground? The crew that goes out to measure the snow pack, went into the Sierra Nevada mountains this week and found no snow pack to measure:(. This week the day time temp set an record high of 66deg for this time of year.

Looks like fun David. Burning wood was the primary heat source for my parents house when I was young. If all goes well, I will be buying their property this summer, and I will have wood to cut again.

Theres still some snow around in shaded areas but not much. Thats the 455 Rancher. It just did have enough huevos for that tough oak. Six cuts a tank for every two cuts and sharpen the chain. Then back at it. All parties got a work-out. Thanks, DM

Sounds like a good day...bet you slept well that night! Good to know my 455 will handle bigger chores if the need arises:thumbup:

Wow David, that just looks like a lot of work to me! You're a better man than me!

It looks like you finally figured out how to set the date stamp on your camera.

Yes, I slept well. Bark Beetles have taken a toll on much of the old trees here. So, anytime of the year I can cut seasoned wood. I've been pleased w/ this model Husky (2nd yr.). I carry the small Buck diamond file to sharpen. I wish I knew how to remove the date w/ my camera. Thanks, DM
