Picked this up on the exchange last week. Its awesome.
I've always liked the blade length and shape on the sar5.
Thought it would make a great all around knife. The edge is scary sharp!
The work that norcalblacktail did on this piece is way to cool.
I took it on an weekend outing and it performed great around camp.
When people around you put there knives down and ask to use yours , you know you have a winner:)
Slicing and dicing was not a problem. Feather sticks were a breeze:)I don't normally baton with my knives but I
did just to try it out and no problem at all. I will post pics of the past weekend
but for now here are the ones from the sale thread!!!

Enjoy
Danny

looks great.

Was that the way it was skeletonized from the factory ?

There were quite a few mods from this model because it was so stinking cheap when released.

I should have snagged one, and folderized it!

Ooh! Likin' that! She looks great dressed or nekkid!!!! :D

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!

He does do some crazy grinding huh? I think he has hung around Ban to much!

Nice one bro.

I wanted to pull the trigger on that one so bad , but I had spent to much already and the stars aligned for you, that thing is amazing........

Just got it back from John at JK Knives.
His leather sheaths r awesome. I asked him to add a front pouch for a bic lighter and had it made as a cross draw carry.
His turn around is super quick.

Congrats ! That is really cool looking :)

If I remember correctly they were so cheap because they were made by mistake and Jerry hated the design so he sold them cheap to get rid of them

I don't know why, the SAR5 is one of my favorite Busse designs.
