Matt just sent me a pic of my long awaited bowie. 9" blade of 1/4" forged 5160, nickel silver double guard and curly maple handle. Haven't seen many Lamey's posted here lately so I thought I would break the drought. Next it will be off to Kenny Rowe for some leather work.

Yeah, old Matt is gettin pretty good! That may be the nicest Lamey knife I have seen yet. Danbo gives it a big "Thumbs Up".

Will do, Wulf! I expect it will be quite a bit more refined than my Lamey 7" Camp Bowie seeing as how there is a couple years of experience seperating them. Not that the 7" is a slouch, it is great for what it was designed for (and what it is used for). I fully expect this one to blow it away.
