Finished this one a couple days ago and also posted it in shop talk but its close to getting burried there. The head was hand forged from a 6" X 1" square piece of 1084/95. The cutting edge is 4" and the overall head is around 9 1/2". Its got a hickory haft thats been half wrapped with buckskin with 3 leather turks head knots. Any questions or comments let me know.......

That ain't "just another" hawk, that is a darn fine hawk... it looks like it means business! I like the broad head, the spike design, and the knots on the wrap are a great finishing touch.

Glad you like this one! Up untill the last few hawks I've done its been more of a search for a style. I've got something now that I'm going to stick with. Your reply comes at a goodtime. I just spent better than two days on another head. I was giving it a quick buff before I start doing the antiqueing process and here's this mini crack. Looks like I just made another paper weight........
