Well I delivered the other ladder patterned knife to my friend and he really liked it so I thought I would try it again. I spaced the ladders just a little farther apart on this one, but all in all I think it came out pretty well. What do you all think, are the ladders to far apart?

OAL 10 7/8" w/ 5" blade. 1080 & 15n20 damascus, all brass hardware with a ringed gidgee handle. The butt cap is drilled and threaded on and then I made the brass cap and threaded it over the end.

Thanks

Bill

I really like that! It is a nice bold pattern. With ladder you can go either way and it looks good ie. high layers and close spacing and lower layers and wider spacing. What is the layer count on this one? Clint

Absolutely outstanding; the entire knife. Nice pin work too. A little different and with class. A functional long hunter.

I really appreciate the compliments, always good for the ego and helps get the creative juices going again. I like to make every knife different, never did care for the idea of making several that looked identical, so sometimes its hard to come up with different looks that go together well. It sure is nice when a plan comes together.

Thanks for the boost, ;)
