Made this one for a fellow forum member.

Forged from a big old Nicholson File with paracord wrapped handle.

OAL - 12 1/4"
Blade has a 7 1/8" sharpened edge.

Thanks for taking the time to look.............. Robert

That is cool! looks like it could handle all the chopping you could throw at it.

It's very elegant in it's simplicity. Am I allowed to talk about a knife that way?:o

I like that alot, what kind of price range would that run? Nice web site, by the way. Clint

What is it with you and files recently? Making some mighty fine blades there! Congrats to Maker and new owner.

Thanks for the comment on my website Clint. Those file knives are as "High-as-the-sky", but not quite as high as gasoline per gallon.:D

Seriously, these run between $100 - $175 depending on the size. I make them when I am between serious knifemaking ventures. Forging these helps to keep my tired old arm from getting too stiff. They don't come with a sheath, however, I could probably be talked into making one for "MO-MONEY!:D

Jim, I haven't been able to forge for several months due to "over-doing-it" back in September. I just forged a couple of these to see if my tired old elbow would hold out. Thanks .......... Robert

Thanks for the kind comments gang. I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to bookmark this and you'll hear from me in the near future. Very cool knife! Clint

Come to Papa!

Can't wait to get this one; and, I fully intend to use it. :)

Good looking knife Robert. It would make a great camp knife. You can get all the mayo out of the jar with that knife and not end up with any on your knuckles. I've made a few out of files for myself and not been able to keep one yet. Missed you at Trackrock and need to ask you a few questions. I will try to send you an e-mail as soon as some local dust settles.
