Got this today. Ran it through the normal stuff ya know, Fiskin', spine squarin', strippin', etchin'......hmmm am i forgetting anything?

Hardly run of the mill. Looks great. I'm torn what to do to mine, well actually im still in the honeymoon stage out cutting stuff up. I do think jimping is on deck for sure for mine.

I'd like to address the choil question.

With the absence of a guard, you can already choke up nice and close to the blade. Otherwise I would already have done it!

yeh the little squared spot isnt much of a platform. The end of the edge still dug into my finger so thats where this came from

Thanks, no jimping scheduled yet. But i think with the choil i wont need jimping but we will see after some use

I can take a downward shot of the spine, but i lack a decent camera to do a shot that would show the squaring well

Thanks guys. It was a little tricky trying to get the choil to "flow" with the shaped and not stick out so much. Its a bit tricky with the squared ricasso but it turned out well enough
