I turned in my resignation in St. Louis today. :D I will be taking a new position in Indianapolis in about three weeks. Wish me luck on the move and other sundry details. A move out-of-state sucks and I don't look forward to the transition period but all should be well in time. :p The move will be good for the career, so I can't complain too much.

Mike and Bob - I may miss the 1500 next weekend but I'm afraid you are stuck with me in the future!

Holy crap!!!

Hope it all works out for ya man!!

The shows will never be the same....

(don't forget, you're only 3 hours from the Creek too....)

Congrats on the new job!!!!!

Make sure you give me your new address so I do not ship INFI goodness to your old address........LOL

I hope you and and yours enjoy the new city.....I do feel bad for the "Moving " part....packing is a job that I myself do not like....I always think "How did I get so much stuff".....but if you need help packing some blades......LET US KNOW.......I am sure we would help you out:thumbup:

Congrats on the new job and I hope your move goes well. You are now 2 hours closer to me, (I'm sure this is the real reason you wanted to move ;) )

:D:D

Congratulations on the new job.

I hear there is a pretty good football team there in Indianapolis.

Welcome Paddles, to Infiana!!!

We love it here. Bloomington is a lot more your type of place (rivers, lakes, hills, trails) than Indy is.

Come down and see us sometime!

If you need any info or help (other than carrying refrigerators!) let me know!

Congrats on the new job

I don't envy you concerning the big move, but like you said --- it'll be an adventure (and at least you have your Busses to "explore" the new territory with...) :D

 I need to talk the boss into moving one of these days. Maybe when we stop having kids or something. This frigging state is on my last nerve, more specifically the morally bankrupt piece of crap that bought his way into the governor's seat again! A big thanks again to the Union sheeple vote. I hope he breaks it off in their hinders like he did the first time around. Now they are trying to legislate from their high seats in Chicago land again and create an assault weapons ban for IL, like the federal one having no impact was not enogh proof of the folly and wasted resources they are willing to commit. It isn't bad enough that he passes legislation, without putting things to the legislature, forcing folks to do immoral things all because he thinks there is nothing sinful in it (I am talking about him making it illegal, by his own order, for pharmacists to refuse to dole out Plan B and birth control pills even if it against their conscience or religion). Screw Illinois!!!! There's a special place in hell for you Rod and your butt buddy Daley too.

Thanks, guys. It is more of a transfer to a different TV station within the same corporation than an actual true and total switch. The new station has a lot more going on, so it is a good career move. We didn't know really know anyone when we moved to St. Louie seven years ago and I'm sure we'll have the same adjustment this time.

I WILL NOT buy a house there while still making payments here - been there, done that - can't afford to do it again. The wife and kids will remain here, with me coming home on weekends, until our old house sells. I still need to work out the details on whether I can snag a company apartment or whether I'll be RV'ing it. We'll see...

A little stressed and nervous with a long road ahead of us, but things should settle down in six months to a year. This better NOT interfere with my Blade plans! ;)

The horror... the horror...

Progunner - you put my thoughts into words in a much more polite manner than I could have regarding our state leaders! I was born and raised here, but the wife and I are both starting to agree it`s time for a change.

John

Come on over to Indiana.

Just don't come to the 1500. I don't need any more competition at Hammie's booth:p

Indiana is a dream compared to most states. Very gun and knife friendly!

I'll keep you and your family in my prayers brother.

Stomper, I know what you mean. IL has been home all my life, but it is making me ILL.

I was keeping it as clean as I could so I didn't have to moderate myself or give myself an infraction. Must the bleed over in peacefulness from the retreat weekend the wife and I are involved in this weekend. :D

Good luck on the move - and I fully expect to see you at Blade regardless of what else is going on in your life. The ONLY good excuses are a prego wife, a new born or that you're taking a dirt nap. That's it. No other excuses will be permitted. And that goes for Terry too!

How's the housing market in St. Louis right now?

AMY, PM should be sending you an email instructing you to forward all INFI to me for safe keeping until he gets settled in. It may be a few years before he's settled, so don't sweat it. If you don't get that email, let me know and I'll fire one off to make it official. ;)
