Here's an 18 inch 26 ounce 10/10 Chitlangi by Sher. Our man Sher is trying to tell us something with this one. It's probably the best Chitlangi I've seen to date and has the Sher "almost convex" edge. Great work.

As I've mentioned Sher and Kumar make the best handles of anybody in the shop and probably anybody in Nepal and it shows on this one. Sher has demonstrated that even if we don't offer the aluminum handle if somebody wants one it can certainly be done. Fine execution by Sher.

Also karda and chakma have matching aluminum handles.

Exellent Chitlangi style scabbard by village sarki.

This is the first aluminum handled khukuri we've offered in perhaps five years and they will always be a special order since none of us like the metal handles -- but we know that some do and if you do this is one of the best ones you'll find.

Call or email and we'll send this collector quality Chitlangi by Sher to your door for $145 -- no discount on this one.

Wow.

That's an acknowledgement to the past...

Back in the late 1800's aluminum was it.

A real collector's recreation.

For a user give me horn or wood though.

Still pretty as they come for a wall hanger.

Whew.

Bill, do the kamis mill from an aluminium billet, or melt and pour into a mold to form the handles? Where do they get the aluminium?

and,

What causes gravity?

Kis

CHITLANGIBill u have too be fast in this place.Looks like a care free handle.Nothing to worry about. :D

I sure wouldn't want to have to use that metal handle in real cold weather. Give me horns.:)

Is that aluminium handle hollow, solid aluminium, or is it filled with something else?

REPORT PENDING. PLUS COMMENTS ON COLDNESS OF HANDLE. BRRRRRR!
Have to take care of a few other things prior to typing observations

Stay Tuned!:)
