I know i've gotten some pictures up already
BUT day one i was rushed, no time to really take good pics
and since then i've had to work every day and its dark before I get home

I havent even had a chance to stick it in a potato or cut any fruit/veggies with it
however i HAVE been using it at work, its a stout little bugger than is working extremely well...cant be happier
I had gotten in the habit of carrying a one handed modern to back up my texas jack, but i dont feel like i need it anymore. Now i just bring it to loan to my co-worker when they need to bum a knife :D

luckily on saturdays I get home at 3-3:30 and its still light out
so i took a few more pics...and now i am going to show them to you...JUST BECAUSE :D

Hopefully you guys can get a much better idea from these

That old teardrop design is beautiful. And it looks good in "old school" materials, especially Ebony!!
Nice nice, nice!! The clip blade looks good in it too, besides being a useful style. Way nice knife!

I like ebony, and I really like that ebony on your knife. The visible striations suit that pattern especially well.

Thanks for taking the time to take and post some daylight pictures.

Ryan,

You gave your honest opinion of the knife so now I will give mine. I think I like the clip version better than the spear version. A real winner there and I hope to see lots of photos from you in the future.

I love my new pickle green bone version, and I wish GEC would do more NF's with ebony. Maybe switch it up and do some Tidioute's in cocobolo and Northfield's in ebony just for a change.

I'd buy 'em!

I had a feeling you would be happy with that. It's a beautiful thing. You chose wisely.

well its been about 2 months since this little gift from Elliot arrived
and I just thought i would post some updated pics ...again JUST BECAUSE :p

i usually edc the 85 at work and so rust was starting to form. So i used some 0000 steel wool and cleaned it thoroughly and wrapped it in a paper towel and soaked the paper towel in some apple cider vinegar. I just dont cut enough food on a day to day basis to really get the dark grey patina i wanted. so i cheated a little :P

anyways, here are some pics i took today, its not all that sunny today, but its a fairly nice day here in mississippi and i thought i would take this opportunity to get a few new pics. So here ya go.
