Just bit the bullet, put an order in for my first Busse! - Update: Shipped 21/11/13!

Hi everyone, after a few weeks of should I or shouldn't I, I decided I want at least one high end knife in my collection, and being a Daryl Dixon fan, I just ordered a Team Gemini Light Brigade, with tanker grey blade and black canvas handles. Really wanted the black and tan G10 but shipping to Australia is going to cost me a bit so I had to make a compromise. Oh well, maybe next time :)

This will probably be the only Busse I can get for a while (I bet you've all said that), got wedding plans next year but I've been putting in alot of overtime and this will be my christmas gift to myself.

I have to say, I nearly freaked out after I placed the order and very nearly cancelled, not for any bad reasons, it's just I've never spent this much on a blade before. But sanity prevailed and I decided I deserve a treat!

Now comes the waiting. :D

Congrats man, At least the price only hurts once..... Per knife LMAO

And I too have nearly freaked out about my purchase/s on more than 1 occasion. Its bad when your wife says, your shoes are falling apart, would you really rather another knife... And i say of course duct tape works on everything and I need the knife to cut the duct tape :D

Looks like more people are stealing my idea for the TGLB.
Waiting for an email from Lexi, to confirm my order...
That TGLB is one sexy blade, think it will go really well with my uniform in the Norwegian national guards, lol.
And to top it of, ill have the baddest blade of all the guys there, haha...

Minus the International part, Ive been in that same position a MANY times. 9/10 times I find myself going with canvas as it ALL adds up esp over time which also can equal more knives over time :) As long as I got me some meat and taters I honestly have no NEED for the gravy (Solid black G10 in my case). Want is a different story :p

Enjoy and welcome to the madness. The wait may be gruling but I assure you it will be well worth the wait if you like balls to the wall fixed bladed knives!

Congrats on your first Busse and the news of an upcoming wedding! The TGLB is a great knife and Daryl Dixon kicks some serious zombie butt!! :thumbup:

Congratulations....Both Ways!!!! Great Blade....There is a Southern Support Group Down Under you may want to chat with when the pain gets to
great while waiting....I don't know delivery times but I know that Rob and Andy have both mentioned that once they get their notification
the package shows up soon after!!! Doesn't hurt that BUSSE Customer Service is Top Notch....Nice to talk to also...Hi Pokey Hi Lexi...:D

Hi guys, just a quick update on my TGLB. I decided to contact Lexi and change my order, I went for the black and tan G10 like I originally wanted. Thanks Lexi for all your help! :)

And I have ordered a black leather sheath from Skystorm, I think it will be a good combo!

Now more waiting! :) But good things come to those who wait.
 
Man I just ordered the same combo thanks to Lexi and Pokey, no my first Busse though.
