Just got it in today!! I know this is a worn out thread, but is anyone else crazy about this knife? When I die, hopefully in my 70s-80s, they will retrieve this from my pocket. I am going to buy every variation of this blade they make. applauds Mr. Sal.
 
I've been eyeballing a Caly3.5 for some time. I just haven't figured out why I need it, lol. Carbon fiber, nice choice!
 
Sweet knife. In fact it was THE knife that got me hooked on blades. I carried it for a year before I gave in to the spidie venom and went on a buying spree. I still have it and carry it here and there. Just sharpened it last night in fact.
 
I'd say the Caly 3 is one of my favorites and the CF zdp-189 rides in my pocket more than any other knife I own.

 
i have an hvac business and I was out on a call today, and the pkg unit had a rather large shrub next to it. Short story shorter, it didn't stand in my way anymore. Just pressed on it. 2-3 inches thick at the stalk.

Be careful, I push cut my thumb the first day that I had mine. :rolleyes: That zdp can really take and hold an edge. :thumbup:
 
The Caly 3 or 3.5 models are great folders. I prefer them in ZDP-189, but lots of folks like the VG-10.
I've carried one for several yrs when I had an office job. It always worked just fine.
Glad for you. Wise choice.
 
Ouch Remnar! I feel as if I did that with mine, the thumb come clean off. I did opt for the zdp-189.
