And a Vic Electrician SAK.I spent about $62. + free shipping on all three.Dam you Amazon, for selling things so cheap!:D

Here's what I got incoming-

"Victorinox Swiss Army Electrician Pocket Knife (Silver Alox Ribbed)

"Leatherman 80030003K Squirt P4-Pocket Multi-Tool, Inferno Red"

"Leatherman 81040003K Squirt S4 Glacier Multitool with Small Scissors"

I've had the same LM since the early 90's.It's a full sized super tool w/leather sheath.I keep it in my work bag, cause I don't like anything bulky on my belt.I also have a full sized SOG Power-Lock.It doesn't see much use, except a little around the house.
I've been looking to try out some smaller MT's.Something I can slip into my pocket & go.

What can I expect from these? Are they pretty durable?

Thanks,:)

Personally, I carry a Victorninox SwissTool in my front pocket next to my billfold everyday. The size and weight have long disappeared. Deep pockets and blue jeans that are too tight are the key (loose some weight or get bigger jeans ;)).

^I honestly don't understand your post Sid^.Please explain.

I would say so. The Alox SAKs are very solid, but also not bulky in the pocket.

I have been a big fan of the Squirts for a long time now, preferring them over the Micra in part because of the external placement of the tools.

Consider also the Squirt PS4, which has both scissors and pliers. Though the scissor on your S4 will be larger and easier to use because it incorporates the multitool body as the scissor handle. If that makes sense.

Thanks powernoodle.I should have been more specific.I know the Alox SAKs are durable.I've had a silver farmer in my pocvket the past couple of years.:)
I was referring to the durability of the LM's.

If I'd seen that PS4 earlier,I probably wouldn't have bought two Squirts.That's a nice one!

I have several Squirts :p, a number of which I have purchased used off of ebay. While I have never "abused" one, I have found them to be highly durable. The paint will wear off, but thats just something one has to deal with I guess.

The Leatherman SuperTool and Victorinox SwissTool are about the same size and weight (I own both). Have you tried carrying the LM SuperTool in your front pocket without the sheath? My SwissTool fits nicely next to my billfold in my front pocket. Size, weight, and bulk are not issue for me in that location.
