Just bought a knife in exchange need advice.

Show a picture of the knife if you can. Although i'm sure you are just being paranoid. Same with me after a bought a fake Spyderco Milli. The fakes are really convincing but i'm sure nobody would sell a fake on here. Does the seller have good feedback and been here awhile?

I think this would have been more appropriate in the Feedback section. I would wait to hear back from the seller first before doing anything, and in the meantime keep doing research. There certainly are fakes out there, and they're very well done so it's a possibility.

I'm sorry about the wrong location, my thought was it wasn't a deal yet? I feel bad asking about this, am I wrong to do so? I haven't given him time to respond to my emails at all. Just looked at fake spydercos for the last hour and started freaking. Where in ri are you? I'm in Warwick area
 
So far, nothing has gone wrong with this sale. So maybe it would be good to just chill a little.
 
I looked at the pics. I'm not a Spyderco expert but it looks good to me. I've seen the videos of the fakes and it looks like its legit. I'm sure the Spyderco sub forum would be a better source of info.

You are 100% correct. I cannot stress enough he has done nothing wrong if it's real, which it very well could be.

Don't worry about it, we all get a little paranoid about our knives sometimes! I would trust any of our forum brothers to never knowingly sell a fake to another member.

I'm in Smithfield and work in Johnston. Knife nuts here are few and far between!
