Just bought a Victorinox CyberTool 34

Oh yeah! It replaced my 20 year old Explorer for daily carry in my bag. I kinda like the smoke or the blue scales, but the red ones are fine. I really want a Cybertool 41.

I found a lot of people who carried the Explorer now carry a CyberTool. I'm a traditionalist. Give me solid red or black every time. Translucent is okay, I guess. The 41 is really huge, isn't it? It combines the Cybertool 31 with the SwissChamp, I think.

These are a great bit of kit. I have just replaced my Swiss Champ with a Cybertool 41.

SAK really is the #1 hard use knife in the world, because it is the one that everybody always carries - even the sheeple.....

Regards,

Ed

I know what you mean by the traditional red. Originally, I was turned off by the transluscent scales, but I like the smoke and blue ones. One thing that I worry about is that transluscent plastics seem to be more brittle than solids. Time will tell if that is the case with the Cybertool.

I think that the SwissChamp and the CT41 are about the same thickness...the CT41 lacks the fish scaler, magnifying glass, and the phillips. The SwissChamp XLT has everything and is super fat. Since I carry the SAK in a bag, I don't worry too much about size, though I think the XLT is too much since I don't need a fish scaler, spatula, fine screwdriver, and the extra phillips. I'd like to have a magnifying glass even though I don't use one very often, but I could get by without it.
