i just bought an Esee 4 from TKC, with g10, i recieved a Rat Cutlery RC-4 marked blade, i know its the same company, and made by Rowen, but what gives, is Esee the newer stock?.. i kinda wanted an esee you know..
But you are right, after RAT left Ontario, Rowen made RAT knives, then they changed the name to Esee, still produced by Rowen. I would imagine if you called Dale at knife connection, he would swap you for what you want......
Some folks even want the RAT labeled knives, to each their own. I also have a RAT RC4 with Dale's G-10 in black. It's all good, use it, the black coating will wear off, and you'll never know that there's no difference.
