I got in contact with Carolina bladeslingers, and man is tournament throwing fun. I spent two hours on a wonderful target range that put my backyard one to shame. I haven't tried a real tournament yet but all the rules make it interesting and different. I just ordered 5 cold steel pro flight throwers to START with. I would have bought some Koch throwers but being a college student, I saved money doing this and I might be able to sell these guys later to another beginner when I decide to buy custom made thrower.

Horay for more knives to buy!!!

boooo for Having to sell stuff for them!

Just got them and wow are they fun to throw. I can see what people say for them being too "light" for throwing though. They have chipped a little and the edges have broken off, don't know much about how carbon V will wwork out for throwing steel.

Get you a set of custom throwers and you will have knives that will last you a lifetime.
I am still throwing knives that I made 20 year ago. We have one guy in our group who throws a 30 year old Tru Bal Bowie Axe

I will once I get out of college and a real job, maybe some of your hand made throwers are in the future for me
