Got a "mini" Manix and a Paramilitary. My first Spyderco was a Military and threw in some pics for the heck of it.

Both the Manix and Paramilitary open smoother than the Military.

The Paramilitary has an interesting lock (release) and opens very smoothly, great size!

The Manix has a nice lock, I like where its located actually. Opens with a hearty click and very solid. I can get a good hold on this bad boy, fits my hand well. This one will ride in my jeans for awhile. (give the Military a little break)

All three arrived scary sharp. Yikes. Gotta be careful.

You're building quite a collection there. You need to add a smaller high end Spyderco, like, say my new favorite, the Dodo.

The para is one of my all time favs.

That is a nice group of Spydercos. You should also consider adding a full size Persian. Some are still available and, one would nicely complement your family of full sizers.

actually I do have a mini Persian on the way, not the full size one though.... And have an Ocelot on the way as well. That's about it though. Funds have run dry after all that!

thanks! The Manix is quite nice! A real solid knife. You really should bump it up on the list of knives to get.

Man, I have got to get a Manix. You've got some great knives there.

Great looking pictures of great knives. I have to ask a question though, "If you are a true blue Spyderco afficianado why don't you own one with a "Spyderedge"?

I am a Spyderco junky! but I am also partial to PE Knives, and Yes Spyderco makes great PE Knives as well.

I love my Para, and I hope you enjoy using yours. One thing that has always annoyed me about the Para is the blade finish shows finger prints like crazy, I will wash the knife, and the first time I open it it gets all smeared up. That is why I am considering the black blade Para like you have. What do you think of the coating? Does it show finger prints? Does it seem to be durable?
