Just bought my first busse from c4man, an ash 1 combat grade (The one at the bottom)

I'll say right now, that's as nice as it's ever going to look after I get it.. I can't wait. In a couple weeks I think it'll be time for a battle mistress, I'm addicted already and literally just paid for my first five minutes ago.

My question was regarding sheaths. I know I want kydex, but my main issue is methods of carry. There are times and places where carrying it on my belt will not be an issue, but there will also be times where I will want it IWB. Is there any way to make a sheath that can be used both IWB and OWB? I really don't want to buy two sheaths as 50 dollars is already more than I've spent on my 1911 serpa with retention as well as other holsters. Any ideas?

Can it be mounted on either side? There are days when im open carrying a firearm and days when im carrying it IWB, so there would be a need on occasion to carry it left side vs right side. Also, where does one buy an IWB strap?

230 and p-easy, I have a couple IWB straps I am not using if you guys will pm me your addy I will send them to you FREE!!!!

Wow that's very nice of you, I don't think I have PM capabilities but I'll send you an email through here. I appreciate it!

How do they attach?

Actually, I wouldn't mind some info on IWB carry options either. I have been wanting to carry larger fixed blades, but don't want all the attention.

I break folding knives like they're free, this ASH is going to be an EDC knife for me so sometimes I need to carry it discretely, other times it won't matter.

Got your e-mail and will send it out this am. It attaches with a screw used to hold the female end of the snap to the band. It will be easy to figure out when you get it.

230 and p-easy & everybody else.

One thing to keep in mind with the blade tech IWB rubber loops (that's what I use & I think most others) is that depending on the thickness of the kydex used for the sheath you may need longer post.

If you need a longer post let me know I will send you some, I have plenty :)

also a little FYI, my sheaths will all work with tec-locs, IWB loops, tec clips & can be worn on either side. I also do special orders if you want a sweat guard.

I also have a ASH,ASH LE & skinny ASH in house to make sheaths with. Send me a e-mail if I can help :)

Yes, typical kydex sheaths are ambidexterous.

btw, steelnut makes kydex sheaths, I know he used to have a CG ASH.

Brian over at Okudenhttp://www.okuden.net/ makes sheaths. I picked up a Kydex sheath from him last month for my CG ASH. This sucker has the perfect retention (well lets face it, this is one heavy knife). When I talked to him in person, he mentioned that he test the retention from a certain height to ensure that it does not fall out.

Shoot him off an email about your needs and see what he can do for you!

I always pull the Tekloc or strap and just tuck in my waistband ~4:00, carried a Bowie that way for years.

Carried a Jack Hammer that way all last week. No problem sitting or driving. My WHC rode there for 18 days on my last MC trip. I've even been cutting the loops off my pouch sheaths and using them the same way. I have all my Randall pouch sheaths made as lefties, I can wear it IWB strong side or clipped to my belt weak side.

Just some thoughts.

SAR5, but you get the idea. That kydex is from Steelnut.

Thank you so much, like I said before, that was extremely cool of you! I'll be hitting up Dave for some kydex soon as well. What's the general turn around time?
