Howdy, all!
After reading about them for years, looking thru these posts for as long as I have had a computer, and drooling over the pics you all put online, I finally did it.
I checked the Busse availability page, and fell in love. An American Kensei "AK-47" - Desert Tan Crinkle finish with tan micarta will soon be mine!
I thought I should start big, and work my way down from there. :D

I was watching the product list on the company site and I saw the AK taken away. Congrats on the big one. :D I'm so sorry for your bank account now. :p ;)

It looks like I moved just in time!!!!!:)
I had been thinking it over for an hour, now.

Way to go, Joe....got a contender for that satin beast from the other side of the shop;) . What combo did you get?

Howdy, Gregg!!
Mine was tan crinkle finish with tan micarta scales. I really like a tan finish on a knife, since there is so much black around.
it will go well with my tan satin battlerat. ;)
Didn't you score one of the desert looking satin jacks?

I'm still so lonely without a Busse Knive!

Don't buy them.. they are evil.

I was pefectly content with my Buck collection about a year ago scoffing at those willing to drop the cash on these egotistical toys. Then I dipped my toe in and bought the cheapest rat you could buy over at the swamp......... and now about 15 busse's later I am begging that Skunk will sell me an AK for just shy of $600.

They are like crack...

I, too, started with Rats. Bog Dog, Satin BattleRat, and a safari dog.
I had been watching and debating about the merits of the various tac satinjacs while i waited for the ratmastiff to be released, when this baby reeled me in.
So much for baby steps.

Baby steps are for those who aren’t prepared to face up to the nature of the INFIction.

I got the jungle green blade with tan Micarta......I'll probably be putting it to use this afternoon.

I remembered the tan handle, at least. :)
I was really close to getting one of the camo finished tacs, until this one came up for sale. The jungle camo looks cooool, as well as the urban.
I'm going to look thru the older postings for a pic of your knife. Is it a light green finish, or a darker o.d type? Just wondering..

To use the technical:jerkit:

it's a ...

HEAVY ORDINANCE FUSION STEEL HEART :eek::eek::eek:

Welcome to the addiction, that AK will be hard to top !

Thanks for posting the pics!
I like the one with the scattergun tech in it; one of those is currently my house gun. I was lucky enough to get one from the original company before they went away.
The finish on both of those steel hearts is fantastic! You just gotta love camo.
I assume the heavy part refers to the thickness, what does fusion mean? Is it the handle style?
