Been looking at getting a hawk for awhile and just bought my first hawk, a American Tomahawk LaGana Tactical Tomahawk (Vietnam Tomahawk). Got if off eBay for $100 shipped can't wait to get it and try it out. Who makes a good kydex sheath for it?

Got it this afternoon and I'm pretty impressed very balanced and well made. Can't wait to take it out and use it.

Now that you got your first out of the way, go buy another. And then another etc etc. I would say a custom next.

i love the lagana head, but i just cant deal with that short handle, does anybody make a longer replacement handle?

oh yea..he's hooked!!

Your right I've already picked up a custom tomahawk poll head from Deer Mountain Forge off eBay. Soon it will be making its way down to Southern CA to brother vec for a Faux Cherry Wood handle. I'm also getting a Baton Hawk from Guild Knife and Tool after 8 Oct. So yeah I'm hooked.

that was my first hawk too! its seen plenty of field use! the point is GREAT for opening tins of juice. One hole on one side, one hole on the other, pour.... :)

I'd kinda like to see the ATC CQC-T on a Vec handle.
It's actually very close to a custom I wanted done, but no one would make from 5160. This one is in S7, which is probably tougher, but won't hold the edge quite as long.

I'm thinking about sending my ATC VTAC to vec as well for say a 20/21 inch handle.
