Just bought my first real knife

Hey guys, I'm Royce. I've been lurking here for a while reading and what not. I've had a couple of knives, an ESEE Izula and a Spyderco Tenacious, but wanted a better quality knife. I just ordered my first real knife today, a ZT 0350. Pretty stoked. Let me know what you guys think about your ZTs, also, feel free to post pics
 
Welcome, Royce. Have had my 350 for a little over a year, excellent piece and a great value. Was my first assisted opener and the spring survived the initial frenzy of playing with it. Snaps open with authority, locks up tight, and holds a nice edge. You'll find few people with regrets about their 350's - or any ZT's for that matter.
 
you cant go wrong with ZT I have the 0300 and a buddy of mine has a 0350. great knives that hold an edge and can take pretty much anything you can throw at them.
 
Welcome to the forums Royce! A would say that the Izula and Tenacious are real knives as well but the 0350 is an awesome blade. I'm sure you're going to love it. Only warning- now that you've joined here, that 0350 is just the very tip of the iceberg. Prepare yourself!;)
 
oh i'm aware. 00chevyscott is a friend of mine, and since he joined, he's dropped a lot of money on knives. Im already looking to get a CRK next. Just need the funds
 
You made a great choice ZT makes a fine knife also the 350 is a great size for EDC and Kershaw's S30V is great stuff.
 
I have a 0350, a 0301 and a 0551 and I love them all. Hope you enjoy yours, Royce!

Jumping right in with both feet then....I like it! :D:thumbup: I was collecting for a few years before I got my Sebenza.
 
Might as well just pick up a para 2 now...jk...but not really...you'll be buying one as a compliment to your 0350 sooner than you think...

I concur, sounds like you've already got a couple "real knives". The ZT 0350 is, in my opinion, just going to lead you to follow your friends path and start spending more money on knives. :D Welcome to BF and the addiction.

Excellent choice. I just got an 0561 yesterday that was my first ZT and I have an 0300 on the way. Now I just need an 0350CB...
 
Yeah I own both a Izula and a Tenacious they are quite definitely real knives believe that
 
I too just "got" a 350 from a forum member. Can't wait to actually feel it in my hands. But having a few Kershaws, I am sure I won't be disappointed.

Let's both enjoy these incredible blades.
