Actually, I bought my first 2 in the same day.

I got a large Classic 2000 with Mammoth ivory inlays and a small 21 that is anodized blue.

I can't wait till they show up. I've heard nothing but good about these knives.

BTW, I plan on the small 21 being a user and the large classic mostly being a looker. :)

They both showed up today. I am very impressed. These are by far the nicest folders I have. The attention to detail and fit and finish is excellent. I will admit the Mammoth Ivory large classic appeals to me much more than the small 21, but the 21 will make a perfect edc folder I won't be afraid to scratch.

Beauties! There's nothing like ivory on a knife!! That blue is the first I've seen..appears to be well done! 'You done good!'

I'm trying to find out more about it. The ano job is pretty fresh, as the knife was born on 4/19/09. It has a light fade to purple on the ends, and appears to be a professionally done anodizing job.

Edit: the ano job was done by Josh at www.theknifedrawer.com It's the guy I bought it from. Not too shabby for $235 I think.

Here is a picture from the seller that shows the color better.

I looked at his website. I don't see where his anodzing service. I would like to get one done like that. Any idea of what it cost?
