Just bought some more micarta

Got some overtime on this check so I decided to splurge on not just one set of KaBar micarta but TWO :D

I had originally planned on upgrading my Beckers one at a time but with the extra $$$ why not go for two this time?

So now I'm going to put micarta on my BK-7 ~and~ my BK-9HH.

I love the micarta upgrade for my 9. Last time I was at my parents house my dad and I were sitting out back messing around with it seeing if we could split a really gnarly maple log. I was really hammering that thing with a batton sometimes hitting the micarta with it. Both the 9 and the micarta came out unscathed. The more I use it the more I am impressed by it.
 
I like the micarta not only for its good looks, durability, and grippy texture, but also how it perfected the balance on my BK-5. I'm thinking I'll get similar results with the 7 and 9HH.
