A 0550. My first ZT. I saw it for 155 and just hit the purchase button. I'm supposed to be saving up for when I move in 2 months... Oh well
 
You will love it.....I wasnt sure about the 0550 because im a big speedsafe fan but after i got my hands on it it has became my fav knife. Im now waiting on my 0560 to arrive :)
 
Bought my first ZT at Blade and it was a 0550 and i freaking love it! And great steal man, i paid about $25 more for mine!
 
About a year ago I was on Pier 39 in San Fran and found a knife shop. I handled a ZT there. I think it was the 550, but I'm not sure. I remember is was a newer model and not assisted. Ever since then I wanted a ZT, and now I finally bought one
 
Congrats on an exceptional knife for your first ZT. The 550 is my favorite of the currently offered normal production lineup for edc. It will serve you well!
 
My wife bought me my first ZT this year for Christmas, a model 0301. After about 2 weeks of carrying it at work, I realized if I wanted to have any pockets left in my suit pants, I had better find something just a teeny bit smaller & lighter. I thought about the 0550, and now from reading all the posts and comments on this model, I think this is the next one thats going to find it's way to Ohio . . . .

I really like my 0550. Of the first round of Hinderer collaborations, it's the one that I've carried and used most. Given its size, it's deceptively unobtrusive in pocket. Once worn in, the bronze bearings on it are as smooth as the KVT in my 0560. The slightly thicker handle also makes for comfortable handling of the knife.
 
I just picked up at 0550BLK from KershawGuy (Dave) and it has surpassed my expectations, although my thumb is bruised from trying to break it in. It's a beast to flip open at the moment but becoming smoother.
 
Excellent choice, lol and yes you will have a sore thumb until it breaks in but they become soooo smooth
