I got me a fireant :) kinda excited about it , havent lit it up yet , just had to brag some lol , let ya know how it goes when the anti snot medication kicks :)

Sparked it up ... took a little bit of coaxing ,but that was my bad for not using fine enough tinder ..

Got it going OK , enough to stick a cup on it to heat up it is actually amazingly easy to get going

I love this little stove , it is tiny , it is not sort on heat output tho ... it packs a punch .. love it :)
I highly recommend it . Go get one .

( No I am not affiliated with emberlit .. they do make good gear tho )

Good to hear Myal...I've been patiently awaiting mine as well. It's always nice for the small things to cheer up a bad day...Thanks for the tease :D

Sweet deal man. I have the regular Ti Emberlit, and love it. May have to check these out.

That is a nice looking little stove.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get it from and how much?

Hope you getting to feeling better soon. I really like Korean food, and if you get some their spicy soup it will definitely help open up those sinuses!:p

I haven't been camping in years, so I can't justify a purchase like this, but these definitely seem like a good investment for those that spend a lot of time outdoors.

Nice, great pictures. There is a bad virus going around hear. It's head and throat respiratory virus, it's putting children and the elderly in the hospital. My son got it, I got it, and my wife got it. She's going through chemotherapy and this is very bad time for this.

I love the stove, light compact durable.

I was thinking about this some ... this may well be a historic post :) , its got to be one of the first , if not the first one of these in Australia ..

Emberlit gear is found here : http://www.emberlit.com/en/

This particular stove tho is new .. there was a kick starter campaign to get them off the ground , I chipped in a couple times first cos it was a good idea , second , a lot more and because there was a lot of goodies that came with it .. and I dont just buy these in singles anyway .. something this good you got to share around , so I got one for family . I will definitely , definitely be buying more , they fold flat , wallet size , they get a LOT of heat from a tiny amount of fuel .. when youre looking at kindling .. and sizing up the coal bed itll make ... from *kindling* ... you know its efficient .

whatever .. this may be a historic occasion lol

The actual guy behind these stoves is a forumite I believe , but I am in no shape to try to begin spelling his name . ( Sorry mate )

Im one happy ( if a little flu infected ) camper at the moment .. these are a good thing , worth sharing about . little bit more tequila , few more antibiotics , and Ill be fine in no time .

I really wished I had seen the kick starter for this. I would have been all over it. I missed out and am now stuck waiting for a general release I guess :(

Nice review. I can't wait to score one.

My interest is also with dual use of the horizontal slots for a Trangia alcohol stove. I use a similar set up that is lighter for my distance backpacking (it's the Bushbuddy gasification stove along with a compact titanium alcohol stove); allows you to use natural fuel for optimum conditions or use alcohol when conditions suck or you're just too tired to scrounge up natural fuel.

As a LNT instructor, these leave no markings and ashes can be spread for minimal impact.

Same version here. Nice review by the OP but I'm not interested in going smaller. The original packs flat as a pancake in its bag. I want more, not less heat, in winter. The great land of Oz has different climactic considerations than were I bushwhack.
