I spent all day comparing inventory in multiple websites and found everything I wanted with just $90 left in my budget for the month  I got a great deal on the 5, 6 and 2 5/6 MB Sheaths and the Pouches and Micarta Handle. Also, the izula prices were on point, but I had to drop the OD one to make sure I have money for food.

ESEE-5P Black Kydex
ESEE-6P OD Kydex
2 Black 5/6 Molle Back Sheaths
2 Black Accessory Pouches
2 Black 5 Molle Sheaths (one for Becker Campanion)
3 BladeTech Klips
1 Pink Izula (girlfriend)
1 Safety Orange Izula
1 Grey Textured Izula
1 set micarta handles for Izula

I have a feeling I'm forgetting something, but it is probably something I decided against. I've now got some work to do when these come in! I'm mentally exhausted from being online for so long.....too much caffeine.

 Cool Order!

You will get the OD Green next month or so. :D

I agree it was smart to get the pink for your girl. I lost a favorite knife to my wife years ago when she saw it and have only seen it a few times since. I always get a laugh when someone asks if she has a knife and she whips out her knife (a spyderco Q model) It's always a good idea to get the girls into the game with their own knives. Then when you "need" to get more, pick up another for her. Diamonds are good, but a lot of great girls (like mine) like getting a good sharp blade also. I have a pink on my list to get her someday soon.

Check this thread out for your OD Izula! Hope I don't put you over budget..

I actually probably will take advantage of this but it'll need to wait until I get paid. I kind of f'ed myself, but I've been poor before and know how to get by without money. I'll dig this thread up to find the link again.

My girlfriend thinks that little knives are cute - she initially showed a positive response to the little blade that comes with the Becker 7 Utility Knife. I showed her an izula in person and she liked the size.....once I showed her the pink version she said she'd like one for her purse.

I have previously armed her with some pepper spray and plan to get her a flashlight similar to my streamlight.....can be used as strobe, super bright and as a last defense can be used to smash with the caps.

When I saw the deal on the OD Izula kit I was pretty excited too. Now I just have to break down and get it!

I bought my wife a PK380 for her concealed carry. She's pretty small and the action was easy to manipulate. I think she would dig one of those pink Izulas.

Damn your lucky, I only get to order one knife at a time.

Don't lie the pink if for you.....

Damn man, take a moment to come up for some air. Those knives are an investment that will last through your great grandchildrens life time. Good on ya!!
Cheers

I will take pictures once I receive everything and give comparison photos so people can get an idea of what size things are. I can even grab my Becker Campanion, Necker and Utility knives to use for comparisons.....also a SOG Seal Pup (elite maybe?).

flexxx - I bought my girlfriend a nice TV for christmas and haven't bought myself anything that I like/am into for a long time.....probably since I bought my RC-3MIL and RC-4 with some Beckers 1.5 - 2 years ago......a little before or around the time I joined the forum here. I think it was before, because I joined to talk to the other knifemaker's here. I am building a belt grinder to use for knifemaking and will try to make myself my own knife and try to make ones for family members.

I have spent the last year paying off debt, I got in financial problems and got sucked into the payday check cashing scam which made it worse. I have probably $1k in outstanding debt that I don't know who to contact and have paid off thousands in the past year and a half. I went a little crazy and bought some nice stuff for myself since I haven't in so long, and the retail therapy for a death and some other family problems over the holidays resulted in me spending more than I could comfortably afford. I have money for food for the next month and that's all that I need. Once I get paid, I'll be in a really good situation.

Obsessis, you bastard! Now, with your order setting the new bar, I'm going to have a hard time justifying NOT throwing down for a -5, Junglas and Throwing Machete all at once (to finish rounding out my ESEE Family). And this after just last Friday having pulled the trigger on a -3Mil!

Looks like I'll be eating Ramen Noodles for ANOTHER couple months!

Congratulations on your purchase, you will really enjoy them. And I can relate to your "retail therapy" :D .

My problem is now, when I want to go out in the woods, I wind up taking 15 lbs of knives with me because I can't decide which one to use!

If I'd quick eating out for lunch at work, and take a sack lunch instead, I'd have more money for knives! :)

It is super easy to make yourself a PB&J Sandwich each morning and bring it to work with an apple and a yogurt if you have a fridge for storage. If not, you could go to a QuikTrip and get two Beef Hot Dogs for $2. That's only $10 a week for lunch.

I don't spend money eating out for lunch, it's way easier to eat a PB&J (sometimes I store the ingredients at work and make them fresh) and maybe some protein powder. Also, bring in some cans of nuts or trail mix to snack on....you'll save enough to get any knife each month!

I need a Junglas and a Lite Machete to round my set out.....except for the fact that I need to get some versions in the serrated version! I only have a 3MIL-s and I really like serrations in my knives - I think they are more versatile. I'll be picking up probably a 4-s and 6-s......maybe a 5-s as well. Then I have to decide whether I want a ClipPoint version of any of the knifes. I'll probably get at least one with a clip point, maybe a 3-s-cpoint to play around with.

I also want to convex an ESEE - I'm thinking a 5 might be good from what I hear from people here, but I'd really like an Izula II and an ESEE-3 with a convex edge. I have never convexed a blade, though, so I'd have to practice on some crappy knives before I try to convex a nicer blade.

I love me some BK2!

I do too! When I heard the ESEE-5 is similar (sharpened prybar, 1/4" thick) I knew that I had to jump on it. I have the BK2, BK7, BK11 (necker?) and EsKabar. I'll probably get the BK9 (Combat Bowie Knife) to round out that collection sometime this summer.

Christ, you're my hero! Most of us will never know what it's like to launch a mega order like that...
