 Im sure tha most people ahv eseen this. Im sur emost people probably are sick of hearing about it. But for those fo you that are new to EKI i think this is important.

http://www.coldsteel.com/60st.html:barf:

This is a blatant rip off From the wave to the thumb disc. Not only that but this man has the gall to sell his knock off peice of crap for a higher price than a real EKI design.

This infuriates me. And if you like your emerson knives, and you respect Mr Emerson, you should boycott this and other cold steal designs. Also it is your duty to tell your freinds that he is a theif. :barf:

Im sorry but i jsut recently saw this agian and had vent, and seeing as how there was the crash i think that there si nothing about this on BF right now.

Thank you for reading this.

Ill get off my soap box now:mad:

I hear ya

I do admit I got a ti-lite from cold steel when I wasn't as knowledgable about knives as I am now. When I got it I realized you could wave open it... the same day I put it up for sale and it was back out in the mail the next day.
(for the above reason and other reasons...)
**cough cough** P.O.S. **cough cough**

it is funny how the website does not advertize it as wave opening, and when I looked for the lowest price on about a dozen other websites it didn't say anything about wave opening... hmmmmmmmmmm

it does however give a demo of wave opening on the "proof" series of videos.
I think there defense would be something as follows "OH HEY we didn't design the knife to wave open we just realized that you could after the fact" or "OH HEY someone else designed this knife, the fact that you can wave open it was not brought to our attention until after the fact"
