Go ahead, call me a *ucktard.

I just checked out a Leek this evening for the first time. Seen people talk about them, never had much interest for some reason just due to the looks and the bladeshape. I've had the opportunity to check them out, and even buy them for cheap several times and didn't even bother picking them up...

Doh.

The stainless one I played with, what a nice knife. Especially for the price. I'm a knife noob, so my opinions probably aren't worth much around here, but now I want to buy one. Loved the assisted opening and the feel of the knife. I have a feeling had I picked one up sooner, I probably would have saved myself a few purchases for a nice EDC blade.

Bah who am I kidding (addicted), it was a nice thought though.

Going to have to pick one of these up. The assisted opening is fun.

I like the stainless version - really slim, really thin, and right some gentlemanly. It's also the least expensive of the bunch, so you can't go wrong.

The Leek is one of my favorite knives. The shape makes it easy to sharpen. I carried one at work and everywhere else for over a year and a half. Being a stockman, I used it a lot too until I bent the tip slightly and it was retired from active carry. To be honest, a standard leek will take care of you. No need to spend more unless you just really WANT it. Personally, I just wish for a leek with an axis lock!

I've carried my standard black Leek off and on for years. I think it is one of the more enduring blades to come along and it continues to make new fans every day. I get all caught up in my new/newer blades, but eventually, I'll put that Leek back in my pocket for a while. It's an old, comfortable knife and I feel good when I have it with me.

I carry the Ti zdp189 version and I love it , light weight , super cool, you will never go wrong with Kershaw.

I sure wish I woulda scored one of those when I had the chance. :)

freq18hz if I were you I would take a gander at the RAM , that knife alone is reason enough to give Kershaw a thorough lookover.

I carry a black damascus leek every now and then. It is my favorite Leek. The carbon steel damascus blade takes an incredible, hair popping, edge!

+1 for the damascus Leek. great price for what you get, and I think it has the sharpest factory edge I've ever seen!

Wow I went on Kershaw's site after checking the Leek out, but I don't remember seeing all these versions...

Going to have to take another gander methinks!

And to think, I was just going to get away with buying _one_ leek.

*Cry*

edit: just checked out the site again and read the fine print. Probably been beat to death in the past, but:

Too bad they don't make a plain edged leek with S30v!
