Hi guys. Please could I have a little advise?
Firstly maintaining microbevels
After sharpening on the microbevel I give a few strokes on the main bevel 1 less than I gave the microbevel
Is this correct, or what is the best way?
Lastly cleaning the edge after sharpening
I might be talking trash, but can the micro steel filings dull the blade if you don't clean them off after sharpening?
I sharpened my CS Spartan one day and put it straight in my pocket. When I pulled it out my pocket later it had started to dull.
Now I clean the edge after sharpening and clean the inside of the handle and it stays sharp
Thanks in advanced
