Uncle Bill had it up for nabs and I just mailed him to tell him I wanted it. Yehaa, another large and socially useless, yet coveted possession. Broken Arrow, if youre arround, is there anything special about this khuk I should know about? Besides being photographed with your son of course.

I'm glad that the 25" Sirupati has a new caretaker. I did a write up on this blade and it is in the Khukuri FAQ section on Uncle's site. I did an extra polish to the blade and I also sharpened it more. I also coated the handle with linseed oil. I loved this Khukuri, but the handle was too big for my hands. I didn't want to sand down the grip because of the nice carvings. Enjoy!

Greeting Uncle!

I did test the 25" Sirupati on my tatami man. Passed with flying colors! I tested it along with my first 20" Sirupati and my son's 15" Sirupati. I was curious how the Khukuris would function as weapons. I wasn't surprised with the actual results. Very effective weapons indeed! I have not tested the 25" Sirupati on any bone though.

What sort of engraving is on the handle? Aside from the Yin Yang. (and how is THAT done?)
