Hey Ben,
How're you doing?
The Reti is a seriously neat knife. One could say it seems almost dainty, but only in the way a katana feels dainty compared to a claymore. The blade isn't quite 1/4 inch thick, and only flares to 1 1/16 at its widest. Mine came very sharp with a
slightly off-center wire edge. Having knocked that off, it took me about two hours (I said one in the other thread, but I guess it was really closer to two) to get it where I wanted it--yes, the steel is that hard!

Hair jumps out of its way now, and I have a feeling this will hold an edge forever. Won't chop down any trees, but I bet it'll trim brush like nobody's business--not to mention silence those sentries somebody metioned...
And for some reason, having the file hatch (now smooth, of course) on the blade is just cool. And hey, it should hold oil better!
Check the "Received my Reti" thread by ferguson also, some good reviews.
