I'm just curious, has there ever been or will there ever be a Spyderco knife with a model name of either "Spider" or "Spyder"?

I would think that this would be a perfect name for a model that would best showcase all of the best features and uniqueness's that Spyderco has to offer.

Maybe a new line of knives whose model names would match different spider names such as "black widow" or "tarantula", etc.

Just a thought. I didn't know if this had already been asked, but probably so.

Thanks,

Brett

I dont believe there has ever been a Spyderco knife with model name of "Spider" or anything "spider" related.

In hindsight, I guess a name like that would be too obvious or a cliché. But then again, if one were to want to showcase a top of the line model ...

There have been at least three of them with Spyder as part of the name, the Spydercard, Spyderhawk, and Spyderfly. None with Spider or spider related names. Possibly because the most obvious ones have been used in the past by other knifemakers, I know someone has made a Black Widow. But Spyderco has made the Dragonfly, Ladybug, and Bug.
