Just dropped $200 on a spydie...

So I just paid 200 dollars for a dealer exclusive Spyderco- the Bento Box Shop Domino with blue g10 and CTS 204p. This one:

It just looked sooo good and like a great high end carry option. Anyone out there have experience with this specific blade or can affirm I just made a good purchase? Thanks all
 
You can't go wrong with 204p. Only blade I've every dropped on concrete with no Knicks recieved. You will rarely be sharpening that blade.
 
Yup, it's a great choice. I have the Domino in CTS-XHP, and it's a fantastic knife. Plus, 204P steel is among the best of the best (it's essentially M390 by a different foundry). If I hadn't gotten such a great price on mine, I would definitely have gone for the BBS 204P model.

Thats good news about the steel- I knew it was a fairly good steel since they put it on a sprint run PM2 if Im not mistaken, but there were few comparisons out there. Thanks for the input
 
This is a slippery slope you've climbed sir. I highly doubt that you'll regret your purchase. You may, at times, regret opening the flood gates however. :thumbup:
 
I recently picked that up along with the Lil' Matriarch deal. I already had the blue CF version and I had to grab this one too. I love the Domino, it is my absolute favorite Spyderco model. The BBS exclusive is a sweet knife and I love the blue G10. I haven't pushed the 204P nearly as much as it could be but I've enjoyed it's cutting ability so far. Congrats on a good purchase.
 
i just bought a domino with the blue carbon fiber scale...i liked the bento box version but they dont ship to NY for some reason so i ordered the blue carbon fiber version....should have it tomorrow! it was $180 shipped
 
just got my domino today in the mail...this knife is SHARP...cant believe how great this knife is out of the box..i had a sebenza at one point and just didnt think it was so sharp...ended up selling it.
i like the fit and finish of this domino knife...flips easily too.
really good stuff....going to make a lanyard for it later tonight when i get some time.

 
I have the blue weave Domino/xhp also. I think the design is amazing, and one of my favorites. Never tried 204p yet, but will soon. Enjoy.
