The warden and I went out for a drive yesterday to see if the ice was still on a local lake. We pulled some perch out of it this past winter. On our way in to an evening camp fire we saw these critters. Thankfully the ticks are not out yet. Oh ya, I checked an old homestead site and pulled out what looks like a turn of the century cuff link ? with one of my beep sticks. There is so much to do outside, and it is only limited by our imaginations.
