Took one of my beep sticks out along a creek as the weather was mild. Found a cheap knife which I later tossed in the garbage. It was also fun watching a mink pop in and out of a hole in the ice. It came up with crawfish.

Never saw a Mink in person

Fur pelts are more dense (thick and plush) the further north you go due to the cold winters. This is why the Hudson Bay Company did so well in back in the old North West.

I love the pics of the Mink. That is cool to find a knife. even a cheap one lol.

I have found many knives, most of them very old. I also find about half a dozen or more axe heads every year. I leave them if they aren't old.
