Taken with an IPhone 6.... just finished this knife for a guy whos going to give it to a friend as a wedding gift. Makes a great hunting knife!




 
Very nice, steel? What is the handle, I like how it looks, did you cost it with something to make the grain stand out?
 
Thanks! It’s 1/8” O1 tool steel and the handle is Curly Maple. I used boiled linseed oil to coat the wood, this was the first time I used linseed oil and I prefer Tung oil.. both make the grain pop but the Tung oil seems more durable and protective.
