Hey Guys..I just finished another one for my brother-in-law...I let him do alot of the work himself....he now realizes that knifemaking isn't that easy...and he said he will never question the price of a custom knife again....he was one of those people .....(well I can just go down to walmart and buy a knife for $30 kind of person :footinmou )....not anymore... :D :D :D

Its Delbert Ealy Super Twist Damascus Blade, Parquet Bolsters and honey red Jig bone handles with fancy pins.... ;)

GORGEOUS!

One of the reasons I got into knife making (the main reason, actually) was to learn more about knives. Immediately I learned that for the most part, the price listed for customs is worth it! I'll also consider the 2 grand I'll spend on a Bader or Frink grinder in a few years a deal, after grinding on my Sears 2x42 for the past 4 years or so!

once again, truly gorgeous knife. She looks very handy too; will your BIL use the knife?

Rene, from what I can tell it looks really nice. But I wish you would throw a little more light on it and take another picture.

Bill,
I was lucky enough to get the knife out of his hands for this picture....he has to come back to make the sheath...when he does..I will definately snap another pic... :)

Rene, I really like that one! Are you sure he is going to let it go long enough for you to take a picture?

You know that's one of the hardest parts of telling people I make knives, after getting over the "oh you use saw blades/files/truck springs/whatever is laying around"(I do and have, but I hope what I'm doing now is a far cry from what I was doing back in high school!) You won't believe the people who spend thousands on 4 wheelers, camo, guns, 4x4's and when I tell how much I charge they tell me they can get that for 20 bucks at walmart!

Great looking knife, looks almost to pretty to use!

Rene, beautiful piece of work. Great job to both of you. :D :D
