Here is one I just finished up today for a forum member. It's my Mini Drop Top model in Elmax powdered stainless. The blade stock is .156" thick. Overall length is just about 6", 3" handle and 3" blade with a 2.75" cutting edge. Flat ground with a 15 degree swedge. Handle is light tan/natural G-10 with thick black G-10 liners. Pins and tube are stainless.

Thanks for looking!

Holy crap...you know, it does me absolutely no good to make knives for you to buy if you're gonna make these...did you flare that thong tube or chamfer it? Just curious, I can't tell for sure, but think it's chamfered. Jonny, that looks awesome, seriously glad to see one from you!

Haha! Thanks Coty. I may be making them, but yours still have a magical quality that makes it almost impossible to leave them on the block. I'm always extremely tempted to buy another one:D When I started making knives the purpose wasn't to make money just so I could buy somebody else's.......but sometimes it does work out that way!:o I guess it's only natural that I still want more of yours. You are, after all, one of the makers that inspired me to take up grinding in the first place!!

Is the Tech II the official name of the previously unnamed knife I have of yours? The one in the exchange now looks like it has a longer blade than mine.

Anyway, thanks for the comments buddy!

Wow Jon. That one looks amazing. Your skills are progressing mighty fast.

Thanks a bunch for the comments, guys:thumbup: I appreciate the feedback.

Jason,
Thanks for taking a look!!

Yo Jon,

The geometry on that thing is stunning! Drop top into a beautiful swedge really makes it and all of the other lines are so complimentary. Great color scheme as well. This one is going to talk to a lot of folks.

Thanks, Erik!!

Talk to you soon, I'm off to bed!

What a beautiful knife. I can't say I like the opposing colored scales. I like the dark one. So when you make mine that is all I want changed. };~)

Love the knife and your work is impecable. I will have to check out more of it.

Thanks much for sharing.

EDIT: I was looking for another reply I had made when I ran accross this one. Now looking at this knife and its scales again I must have been on a bad trip or someting when I said I did not like the opposing colored scales. They are beautiful. I suppose I was just not used to seeing such a thick liner. But I see this as more like layering the scales and it looks absolutly beautiful.
