Just finished my CRK Umnumzaan

I just finished my stone washing treatment on my Wilson Combat Umnumzaan. Thought I would show it off as the people in my house don't care much about knives. ie. my wife.

Not really. I was worried about that but it seems to have more texture now.

Nicely done. It turned out great!

I cut a piece of wood to fit between the scales and using the hardware I sandwiched the wood between them. I then took a plastic jar and added 1/2 river rock half full. I them added a fair amount of gun oil and the scale sandwich. I rapped them in a towel and throw it in the dryer for 15 min.
I the switched the rock with pea gravel and ran it again for 5 mins.

The river rock wasn't that smooth. I think the short time frame kept some texture. I didn't want it to be that smooth.
