Hello, first post on here. I hope I find you well and in good spirits!
So, I've literally just finished my first 2 knives!
Bit of background info.....
I happened to stumble upon a knife build video on YouTube last October, being a time served mechanical engineer this video grabbed my interest instantly. Having watch said video I thought, that looks like a nice little project let's have a go.
So, around £100 later and a few hours in my little workshop I've created the 2 knives pictured below.
They are by no means perfect but see them as working master blades, something I can turn to as a reminder of what not to do.
The Zebrano handled one is actually the first and is the one I am keeping. The other is a gift for my Dad (currently on holiday so he will receive it as a belated birthday present this week)
Please give me your honest feedback on these 2 blades, I'm a big boy I can take your honesty!
