Hey all!
First, take note that I'm a beginning knife maker, with very limited resources and tools. That being said, I just finished my first knife made of decent steel! It's a neck knife hybrid, with about a 2.5 inch -ish blade that took inspiration from Spyderco, Chris Reeve, Kershaw's Leek (so I guess Ken Onion) and my own imagination. It's made out of a ten dollar saw blade that I got at my local hardware store, and I'm really impressed with how fine an edge this thing can hold! In just about an hour with an awesome guy at my local knife shop who let me use the stones and guided me through the whole process, I got it to a mirror polished edge, and it's cutting through paper like a razor. I'm new to this whole app so if somebody could guide me through the process of uploading a picture or two of it, that would be great.
