I just finished my two tigerclaws and like to show them to you.

The blade is made of highcarbon steel (Frost steel Sweden).
The scales are black micarta and finished with brass pins and buttpipe.
The claws are 55mm long, 1 inch is 25,4mm.

Please give me your opinion.

They are very nice. Allot of attention to detail must be paid to make such a small knife and have it turn out so nice. Great Job

Theo,

I've just started to collect miniatures and yours are some of the finest I've seen! Very imaginative designs! Do you also make sheaths for these tiny creations? HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Very nice and I thought they were bigger till I seen the photo of them in your hand.

Great work!

Nice.

What's the thickness of the steel? And is it a hollow chisel grind, or hollow on both sides?

My opinion is that these are very high quality miniatures. They have sharp, defined grind lines, which is something I find missing from a lot of miniature knives.

Theo,
Fantastic detail for any size knife, nice style.

Regards,
FK

Great work!
That's what I thought as well. I really like the blade style and a great looking finish on the blade as well. Very nice.

A very Happy New Year to you all!

Thanks guys, what a great reply, woow!!

To answer some questions, no I don't make sheats, ....yet.
Think I got the same problem liky everyone else, time, I just
have to little of it.
The thickness of the blades is +/- 1,8mm thats just over 1/16".
I didn't ground them, I do the edge with a file, so you could say
they have a flat file (grind) on both sides.

Keith, I don't call them Deception Cutlery for nothing.
In my opinion a miniature have to be exactly the same as his big brother, ofcourse within the space a miniature offers.
I do believe it's possible to make exact copy's, think the only limit is again time.

If you all like to see more of my miniatures, you'll find them at,

I like that the claw design of the blade is subtle and not all too hook-like. This gives me the impression of doing a good slash without snagging.

Remarkable how the second photo shows the size of these neat little wonders, over that of the first photo.

On another subject .... so, no wooden shoes? Really? :)

Is anyone there standing around with their finger in the dyke? :D
