just finished these!

Nice real nice I like the blade shape
and the handle they look like they would
fell good in the hands
maybe one day,I will finish my first up
and post it until then I will look at some
good work,;)
 
They look very nice. That damascus is real pretty. I kind of like the shape of the last knife the best though. That is a great looking little knife. It would probably look even better in that damascus.
 
well keith, i have another bar in a eye pool pattern. and guess what i was thinking today? damascus lapplander blade project will comence.!:cool:
 
Hey Laurence, those look great. I particularly like that wharncliff, looks very practical. You may have convinced me to give that damascus a try too at some point. Thanks for sharing.
 
All those pic's look great, Laurence! That is good looking damascus, I'd be interested to hear what you think about it's performance. Looking forward to pic's of that next project!:)

Those are all really nice Laurence! The wharncliffe is just plain cool. Nice leatherwork on the sheath. :)
 
thanks, i have a damascus blade i ground, of bruce evans being H.T. by well non other than bruce evans, its a convex grind skinner. the manager of the APT, i live in loves the idea of me making knives in the garage. but he asked me not to use a open flame in the building because this old place could go up like a match! i didn't tell him about the time i set the pile of ironwood grinding's on fire that i had let build up under the contact wheel:D i was checking the evenness of a grind holding the blade upside down to the light and and said to myself HHmmmmmmmm i think i smell a barbaque? abd then looking down to see flames licking around the contact wheel :eek:
