Just finished this one today. I've been wanting to make a hidden tang using a piece of main beam from an elk antler. I ground it down to usable size, contoured it to fit, sanded it smooth and got the file marks off of it. Once I sealed it with superglue, I polished it down to about 600 grit. Also my first attempt at inlay using colored epoxy - in this case, the colorant is brass dust. The handle is smooth, but not slick, and fits my palm like a glove and the finish on the blade is super smooth! Should make a good user this fall. Thanks a lot for looking, ya'll!
