Just finished this one up today for a Friend that teaches Bushcraft in France. The wife says it my best yet. The blade is Brad Vices Twisted Damasacus with maple burl and mosaic Pins

I acquired 100 piece of scales from a friend. He just said it was maple burl.
You may have a better idea than I do.

It is not a finish. It is Damascus steel. The different layers of steels and nickle
are etched in acid to remove the steel and leave the shiny layers of Nickle.
