A buddy of mine wanted a nice fancy skinner in the Loveless style,I worked this one up in 440c,pakkawood(customers request)with a mosaic pin.I kinda got tired of the matte black tacticals that I`ve been making so this was a nice departure for me.
Whatcha think?

Looks like he ought to be able to open them up with that.

Personaly I like dymonde wood and pakawood. The solid colors anyway. Wouldn't want it on a dress knife, but for a worker it's OK. Unfortunatly it seams all the Chinease and Pakastan imports have ruined it for the US buyers.:grumpy:

will hit the nail on the head,I really like pakkawood and dymondwood as well but since the chinese and pakistanis have flooded the fleamarkets and hardware stores with $2 knives with pakkawood handles it just kinda ruined it for some people,I just hope they stay away from linen micarta..........

I like the knife looks neat clean lines.
I also like pakawood. The ascari blue was my favourite at one time.
Until I made a fishing knife for my father inlaw. He would leave it
in the sun, which you would expect from a working knife. I must have got a bad batch because it changed colour to green. It may have been abuse it may have been use I did not see it for a couple of years and how it was treated. It just left a question mark in the back of my head. I have not used it since but I have seen many beautiful knives with it my new favourite is red and charcoal. even when the color changed the handle was stable and kept its shape and fit. Most likely the batch and treatment not the product.
Again nice effort
