I suppose I have somewhere in the range of 50-60 knives, but probably no more than a dozen different makes and mostly from the usual suspects.

No idea, really. Guessing I have around 75 knives. A lot of Bucks. Some Westerns, KaBars, Case, Svord, Mora, a custom or two. One Benchmade Mini Ruckus. Nothing over $300 and most under $100.

Last inventory two months ago.....57 knives from 17 makers. Been selling off about 17/18 knives on eBay to reduce the load. But bought 4 more.

My name is Bob....and I am an accumulator.

I suck at counting, so I'll list them out:

Kershaw Blur
ZT0350
Spyderco GB Schempp Rock and Dragonfly
Benchmade 530, 162, grip and mini-grip
Lionsteel SR-1A
KA-Bar US Army Commemorative
ESEE Izula
Strider SnG
Brian Tighe mini Tighe-rod
SOG Pentagon Elite 1, Seal Pup, mini X-Ray Vision, Flash II
CRKT M16-12Z
Bear and Son Damascus fighter
An old, large, discontinued Case folder
Vic SAK
Wenger SAK

I tried to count these up in my mind to reply to this a while ago. Then I got side tracked with work. Then I cam back and started again. Then I read others and said "yea I forgot that one, and yea, I have that one too." I came to realize that I must be very sick, so I looked up a shrinks number to try to get some help, but then I realized that mental health professionals are going to be required to report mental illness to the government, then I won't be able to buy a gun. So I ordered another knife. I honestly do not know how many I have now.

I've got something like 25 knives from around 15 makers. All production, with the most expensive being around $250 but with most well under $100. Only 4 are in my regular carry rotation, most of the cheaper ones have just been sitting in my display since I started collecting higher-end folders.

If you consider Kershaw and ZT different brands, and Spyderco and Byrd different brands, I have 261 knives from 19 different brands. But right at half of those are Spydercos.

Around 50 but I'm seriously thinking of culling the herd. Now that I'm getting more selective with my purchases the majority of my knifes just sit in a drawer and commiserate with one another.

I haven't been able to count them since I hit 300 a few years ago, probably 30 different brands/makers.

Most are traditional, about 70% the rest are modern.

Does that answer your question? :)
